Performing and Visual Arts, Tuition and Dance Academy

We offer many opportunities for students to be involved in co-curricular activities in music and the performing arts.

ARTS WEEK 2024

Year 4 Band Program

We are excited to introduce a new Band Program for all Year 4 students, starting in 2025! As part of their weekly music lessons, students will also receive 30-minute small group tuition with an instrumental teacher to develop fundamental skills on their chosen instrument.

Students will begin learning their instruments—flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, trombone, or violin—in the middle of Term 1. In Terms 2 and 3, they will play together as a class band during their music lessons, building confidence and teamwork through ensemble playing.

To celebrate their progress, we will host a concert for parents at the end of Term 3. There is no additional cost for students to participate in this program.

Beyond Term 3, students can choose to continue learning their instrument in Term 4 and future years. They will also have opportunities to join our Junior Concert Band, and later progress to the Senior Concert Band and other College ensembles.

We look forward to seeing our students grow in their musical journey!
